This review is from: Juiceman HB0001S Juiceman Stainless Steel Hand Blender and Accessories (Kitchen)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?) I haven't had a blender since back in the 80's in Oklahoma and we drank a lot of Margarita's playing Foosball. I had forgotten what I was missing! This thing makes great drinks from smoothies, to milkshakes, to Margarita's. Well, I haven't done the Margarita's yet but I'm sure it would do them great.

The power head is a nice idea, very powerful and super easy to use. Being a retired machinist and a tool nut I have a thing about tools doing what they are supposed to do (and hate the ones that don't). Which this does very well. I love the variable speed dial on it that lets you set the speed any where from setting 1 to 5, or anywhere in between. This lets you adjust the speed/power to exactly what you want instead of a preset speed from a button. Then it has the power boost button on it too for that sudden short burst that you sometimes need. The other feature of the power head is the locking system that is used to lock on to the different attachments. It has a simple "insert-and-twist" system that stays together very well but is still easy to disconnect when you are done or ready to change attachments.

The long blending attachment, which is my favorite, will work well in any other tall container as well as the one that comes with it. I have a favorite large insulated mug from Loaf-n-Jug that I like to use for my smoothies and milkshakes. The four bladed head has a long double ended blade crossed with a shorter double end blade that makes short work of blending up pieces of fruit, berries, and what ever else you want to put in it.

I've only tried the whisk attachment once. First thing I noticed about it is that it has a gear reduction in it to slow down the rotation so it doesn't go too fast. But you still don't want to try it in too shallow of a bowl! I started to try it to whisk up 6 eggs for a extra large omelet and almost had eggs all over the kitchen! Next time I'll use a deeper container or the tall one that came with it for the blender head.

I haven't had a chance to try the chopping bowl yet but from the looks of it, it should work very well. From the size of the blades in it and as well as the power head works I can see why the other reviewers have had a problem with "over chopping" what they put in it. That's why I'm sure it will make excellent Margarita's!

Since this device is called "Juiceman" and not a "food processor" I can say that it does exactly what its supposed to do, plus the work of a "food processor". Its better than just a regular old fashioned blender and does it very well. I'm sure that I'm going to get a lot use out of it and have a lot of fun with it too.
