I bought this product because it was almost a duplicate of what I already had in my computer. The old one was about 6 years old and was finally failing. I bought this new drive and was pleased that it was a much better quality product than what I expected. It fit perfectly into my computer and it was easy to connect. The drive bay is much more quiet than the previous version and it burns at a faster speed than my old unit. The plus was that it also came with Nero 9 Software and Lightscribe software too. Very handy! I would recommend this product to anyone looking to replace or add a CD/DVD Drive unit.
