I compared benchmarks of intel processeros and this one came out in the top for speed/price ratio. It hasn't let me down at all.
Currently running with 8 gbs of ram at DDR3, 1gyg of video with Nvidia 430 GT in 64 bit- windows 7 . I use programs that involve numerical calculation and a bit of a strain on the processor, and i can leave them running on the back while i watch videos or do something else at the same time. Haven't tried overclocking it though.
