this table is sturdy, attractive and easy to assemble. However there was one problem - one of the wood slats was broken in half. not sure if this was a product defect, a packaging problem, or a shipping problem--there were several dents and tears in the package. I will have to use wood glue and a clamp to repair it, since I don't want to go through the trouble of packing and shipping for return. that's one of the problems with ordering something heavy and big through e-commerce. Note: I used this table inside to extend my dining table for an additional 7 people for Christmas dinner, then moved it outside to the patio where it will reside (unless I need it again for more than 8 diners inside!)
