I tested these headphones when they first came out, and have yet to find anything comparable in the sub-$300 range. Coming from a pair of Technics RP-DH1200's, these are much lighter, much clearer, much more comfortable (thicker ear pads), and much higher quality sound. The bass is very round and expansive, not flat and indiscernable. Great isolation against outside noise. They also fit much more securely than the Pioneer HDJ-1000's. Personally, I've never seen a pair of Sony headphones worth DJing with. Best headphone purchase I've made in years.
