As a computer science major and mostly on the move this laptop is great! Running windows I had to update some drivers for cleaner auto and video. However I am now running Ubuntu Natty 11.04 and it runs great out of the box with every driver working including the touchpad gestures, bluetooth, and graphics.
The screen size is perfect for programming with an IDE like eclipse but most colleagues argue the want to see more. It is tough to read requirements for a project for a UML design because your switching back and forth but it gets the job done.
The keyboard on this laptop is amazing. After using it for 3 months I felt other keyboards and was disgusted by them.
