The little vac is powerful and has nice attachments for small jobs...but...it needs three different filters: a bag filter, a foam filter (used for wet and dry pickup) AND a paper disc filter which fits over the foam filter. Also the paper filter and the ring to hold it were not included in the box. Seems like filter overkill and I would have chosen a different vac had I realized this. ** I wrote the above review right after I got the vac and gave it three stars...I just upped it to 5 stars now that I've had the vac for a few months. I originally bought it for scrap cleanup in my quilting studio...since then I've had a sliding safety glass door shatter and a serious leak that caused me to have to replace all my kitchen tile ..this little vac cleaned up a heck of a lot of shattered glass ( even from the yard!) and also handled the cleanup during the kitchen re-tile job. ( Dry only, I have not used it for wet pickup, so can't comment on that.) I dispensed with the bag filter and the paper filter, leaving just the foam filter...and it works great. The end of the hose that fits into the vac had a lip on the end of it that caused the hose to jam often...it is plastic and I simply cut the lip off leaving a round end to the hose( as every other vacuum that I have ever seen has...) . No more jams. So maybe I'm not using the vac strictly as designed but it sure does a great job at everything I've thrown at it.
