I am here to re-iterate what most of these reviews have stated. Worth the price. I've been DJing for 8 years, not even that frequently, but still wind up breaking headphones almost every year or two - usually at the swivel joint of one of the cups. Sometimes superglue keeps them going a little bit longer, but overall what is the point of buying $100 headphones when you have to repurchase them every year. I can already tell from the design that these headphones should withstand normal wear and tear. The sound is superior to the HDJ-1000s (I did a side-by-side with my broken pair), and if the electronics lasts as long as the 1000s, then I'm sure I'll have these for a long time to come.
