I received this pack as a gift recently. I've been wanting a Sonic toothbrush for quite sometime now, it's not deceptive marketing, these Sonics really do provide a much better brush than a standard manual or electric toothbrush. I'm very happy to report that after a year of listening to the hype I have been able to put this through a solid trial and am very impressed.
Make no mistake, this toothbrush gives your teeth and gums a workout. This brush moves so quickly that it turns your toothpaste into a nice watery foam and shoots it around everywhere in your mouth. It vibrates so fast and effectively that you need to keep your mouth closed otherwise you'll spray your mirror;)
This pack also comes with the Hydro Brush which is a sonic water-pick. This thing amazes me to no end, you can feel the water shooting between your teeth and hitting the back of your tongue.
I'll put it like this - After brushing I floss like most of us do and like most of us your floss will remove food particles that brushing always seemed to miss. For 4 days I didn't floss and instead used the Hydro Brush, when I finally flossed this morning not a single piece of food came off my teeth. I was very impressed but also not surprised because like I said before you can really feel this thing working.
Phillips states on the box that the Sonic brush will get your teeth up to 2 shades Whiter and that definitely seems to be the case with my teeth. So far it's done a very good job at eliminating some of those stains in between my teeth and I've just started.
This set comes with 2 chargers, a small one good for travel and the one connected to the UV base station. The UV station holds 2 brushes and with the push of a button it will sterilize your brush heads. I use this everyday before brushing but it also has an auto-shutoff in case you don't make it back to your brush.
