I've heard SO many mixed reviews of these in the past. I put off getting any for the longest time because I was afraid I would be sold fakes, they wouldn't stay in my ears, they would be uncomfortable or break easily. I'm a huge fan of Lady Gaga so I decided to finally give them a chance. I don't know what product others received but these are the most AMAZING headphones I have EVER owned.
The sound quality is nothing short of phenomenal. I've never heard such crisp, clear sound. The bass is ridiculous! SO deep. I got a chill the first time I put them in. I can't imagine using any others now.
I can see how one could be put off at first based on how large they are, as well as the unconventional shape...maybe I just have the ears for them but they're just as comfortable as any earbuds I've had in the past. They DO stay in my ears, very well, in fact. Of the 5 different sizes you get, I DID have to change the rubber tips to the largest ones though...but big deal. It's what fit best.
They're beautiful! Shiny silver chrome and shiny bright red...the colors are fantastic. You get a great zippered storage case as well. The flat, wide cord...I kind of thought would be a problem, maybe it would get in the way but it doesn't at all. It's not bulky in the least. It's very lightweight and easy to manage. You also get a clip for the cord that helps with this.
Overall, I have never been SO pleased with headphones in my life. I would DEFINITELY buy these again in the future!
