I like these much better than the broken Ultimate Ears they replaced. The UE buds were forever tangling (enough to finally break), the bass response was pretty much not there unless you had them jammed into the ear--but that was pretty much impossible, because they would not stay tight in the ear. These Brainwavz M2's are very comfortable, stay in the ear, occluding the ambient sound very well, and remain comfortable over long stretches of time. The bass response is much better than the UE's. They do not tangle. Hard to imagine, but they do not tangle. And all this at a fraction of the price of the UE's. Better performance + better price = Good Deal.
