The sound quality is very good. When you are actually using them to listen to anything, these headphones have fantastic sound quality for wireless speakers. They also are capable of producing decent volume.
The problem is in power management - it takes significant effort to power them up. In three out of four cases for me they don't work right away. From what point, too many things could be wrong:
1. Power-saving feature turned off the transmitter. You need to press a button on it to wake it up then before anything else. That is a problem if audio port is not easily accessible (i.e. under a desk). Also, you need some sound playing to tell if the problem is in battery or in something else.
2. If you still don't hear anything, then batteries are dead. The trouble is, it's not clear which one did - the one in the headphones(receiver) or the one in transmitter (or both). When batteries are exhausted, but haven't died completely yet, I think they are doing different blinking patterns which are probably described in printed manual, but that is impossible to remember when you deal with many gadgets.
The devices burn through batteries fairly quickly, which is understandable and acceptable, but battery diagnostics are difficult, and you often end up replacing both pairs. Also, if the problem is in computer or other sound source, you'll likely put new batteries before getting to that. In other words, lots of batteries are wasted.
I was hesitating whether to give the product 3 or 4 stars because of power issue, but I think the problem is annoying enough for a price tag over a hundred, so three stars. If something is done about that, the next version will be much better.
